Hi, its so nice to hear your songs again, I have left the reservation eight years ago and have greatly missed hearing my own Dine language. I have made a lot of sacrifices, but am glad that I have done it. Thank you for being an inspirations to young women, especially our Native women, that we can always overcome. Thank you again..Missing home, hearing my Native tongue and Native foods...

Ms. Cody,
It's nice to see that you have connected and embrace your Dine ancestry. I pains me to see that full blooded Natives are shunning away (for lack of a better term) "mixed bloods," or even other Natives that don't know their language/culture. It is laughed at and seems to be a huge problem, that is why our heritage is slowly fading into a generalization of "NDN," there are no specific tribes anymore. I thank you for upholding your DINE blood. With much love and respect
Keylon

Dear Ms. Cody:
You are a great inspiration to many. others. I came upon your name in the late 90's while doing research on Black Native Americans for a culture program at a private school. It would be great if you would speak at some of the inner city schools about domestic violence here on the east coast. You are a great role model to many. If you ever decide to come to Baltimore,Md., I would be one of many who would spread the words of your talent and blessed gift. Sincerely, Yolanda F.
